Event Cancellation Policies

ACCIS Program Cancellation and Refund Policies

If you are unable to attend an ACCIS program for which you have registered, please notify Rhonda Collins immediately to cancel your registration.


Because of the membership’s extensive interest in attending the Summer Institute, ACCIS has implemented a new cancellation policy to encourage members to register only if they are committed to attendingAny questions or concerns should be directed to Emmi Harward, ACCIS Executive Director. 

Summer Institute & Pre-Institute Cancellation and Refund Policy:

  • Cancellations received at least 60 days prior to the program will receive a 90% refund of the registration fee.
  • Cancellations received 46-59 days prior to the program will receive a 50% refund of the registration fee.
  • Cancellations made within 45 days of the program will not be eligible for a refund.
  • Cancellations for Summer Institute Post-tours are not eligible for refunds.

To cancel your registration for the Summer Institute or Pre-Institute, please notify Rhonda Collins immediately.

ACCIS Program Cancellation and Refund Policy (excluding Summer Institute or Pre-Institute):

  • Cancellations received at least 60 days prior to the program will receive a full refund of the registration fee.
  • Cancellations received 31-59 days prior to the program will receive a 75% refund of the registration fee.
  • Cancellations made within 30 days of the program will receive a 50% refund of the registration fee, minus any financial obligations the Association will bear for attendee such as hotel charges or college-committed funds.
