Associate Director of College Counseling

Morristown-Beard School, a coeducational independent day school for sixth through twelfth grade students located in Morristown, NJ seeks an Associate Director of College Counseling.  The successful candidate will join an already well-established office in guiding a class of approximately 100 students through the college search and application process and developing enhancements to the program.  The Associate Director will be responsible for working closely with families through a program that is immersed in a school culture emphasizing student engagement and the development of a 21st century skills-based program.

The ideal candidate will have college counseling experience at the secondary level and/or admission experience at a selective college or university, will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other members of the school community.  Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.  The Associate Director will be expected to participate in the life of the school and may also serve as an advisor, teacher or coach, depending on relevant experience.
